HISTORY:

For many years, the history of Dead Zone has always been shatter around. It keep changing without any proof and consider the unrestricted internet access have become very widespread (after ISP company went bankrupt due to D.I.Y tools that became easily accessable), it is hard to pin point what is the real history of Dead Zone and the causes of it. All Date and Time remain lost and unknown.

What is true however is these:

BEGINNING

  1. California had declare independent as "California District" (aka: CAD) in 203X. Its original plan was to serve without the need of USA help. Sadly, their next elections has turn into a dictorship (Name remain unknown). Their plan was to take over every U.S.A States one by one and transformed into massive dictorship country.
  2. Their first plan was to invade U.S.A Nevada as it was consider nearby. This was also the same time CAD reform as Dictorship. This result of the "Decade War"
  3. "Decade War" is war that last around 10 years (literally decade). Despite it name, it was mostly a battle between U.S.A Nevada VS CAD. Majority of timeline in "Decade War" is often stealmate from both side until at the end
  4. Around the "Decade War", CAD only captured around 10% of Nevada. Those captured area are Carson City and Reno.

AFTERMATH

  1. As battle goes on, these city was mostly destory and rebuild under CAD as "Los Tri Zone" (It was only 35% done during the Battle).
  2. CAD was creating a Military Base. This area included Communication, Surveillance and worst, Nuclear weapon.
  3. As U.S.A Nevada was slowly losing, their final (yet shitty) option was to bomb the entirity of their base, including "Los Tri Zone"
  4. Ever since CAD lost their bases and their city, CAD was forced to surrender and CAD has been reverted back as California Republic. Their original idea of USA Takeover was failure. CAD Military base is now called "Point Zero"
  5. "Point Zero" is now consider a place for all the Wastelander to bring up a fight. It is a area that no one dare to cross unless they're brave enough.

PRESENT:

Fast forward to the Present 204X, U.S.A Nevada are currently building a new city known as Blue Light City, an bright and protected city across Nevada. Los Tri Zone is currently decaying and been locked up past "Point Zero" and farther to South Side is nothing but Wasteland. Highway (Interstate 38) are mostly unfinished and broken, making it somewhat hard to get out Dead Zone

Despite the fact that U.S.A Nevada are no longer in war, they are still clawing with problems, such as Criminals under Bounty Hunting, destruction, corruption and much more. This is where the people of Nevada hired Freelancer to "clean up" the messes.

FREELANCERS:

Consider that U.S.A Nevada no longer have a government establishment nor any police forces, they instead have to relay on Bounty Hunter. Previously, most of the criminals are just a bunch of nobody who just simply looking for trouble. even during the battle of CAD. After the "Decade War" however, these criminals had gotten major advantage. Using CAD leftover weapons (such as RPG, Bioweapons, and more), they end up causing major damages to point that regular bounty hunter couldn't deal with them

This is where "Last Resort Clean Up Crew" (L.R.C.U.C) come in. While L.R.C.U.C is official name, They perfer to called them as "Freelancer" as they only get paid from clients and hate the official name for being too fucking long. They do live up to the name however. They are consider as the Last Resort and the reason is the fact that they will do everything, anything to take down these crimials, regradless of property damages. Clients (mostly Bounty Hunter and Company) often hired them since most bounty hunter nowsday can't do shit.

Majority of these "Freelancer" often live in Middle of Nowhere for unknown reason. Majority of criminals often hang out at Point Zero (hench the weapons they got).
